I’m getting some poetry published. Offline. In a real poetry magazine. With a chapbook in the 2nd half of it. It’s devoted to the antics of the Outrageous 7 Poetry Salon that I was a part of back in the early to mid-90s. Which mean my buddy, superstar Ed, will be in there as well, along with the late, great William Talcott, Elizabeth Hurst, Betsy Ford, Jim Watson-Gove (who’s putting this thing together) and Jules Mann.
I submitted 8 pieces, and they are all going in. They were all, in one form or another, published on my poetry blog. So, to help Jim sell some copies and help make my friends even more famous among international poetry geeks, I’ve the submitted poems from my poetry blog on ice. I may bring them back up next year. Who knows?
Yes, someone may accuse me of pulling a Scott Adams…should they make the mistake of actually caring of the content. Whatever…
Anyway, these poems have been pulled from digital circulation…for a bit:
Feel free to play taps if you wish, but they may be back someday…
If you wish to pre-order the upcoming issue, feel free to drop Jim a line:
Minotaur Press
PO Box 272
Port Townsend, WA, 98368
The magazine comes out every quarter. The last copy of Minotaur I have on hand shows the price being $6.00, or it’s $24 for a year’s sub.
Peace, love and all that…
