Another reason to be offline most of the week; I’ve been sick as a dog. My co-workers are freaking out, as I speak. Sad no, about the lack of empathy from the ones you work closest to?
OTOH, I wouldn’t want what I currently have either. So their current apprehension on being anywhere near me is quite understandable.
Anyway, the RPM Challenge peeps are accepting videos from folks wishing to discuss their project. So, right before I went down for the count, I put my quickly-becoming-fugly mug in front of my FLIP camera, mugged for a total of 1 minute, 42 seconds, and the results can be seen below:
As you can see, this is why I don’t really make videos. But hey! Anything to get folks’ attention, even if only to point and laugh.
BTW, for those wondering…I need to do a few more tweaks on my CD (there’s one song I’ll need to resing, for example) before I send it off to be duped, ITuned, etc. I’m also working on a collaboration with someone who found me on the RPM Challenge site, so I’ll be busy with that. So, as much as I wanted to throw my work at Discmakers on March 1, I guessing, at this point, the CD should come in around mid to late March.
Oh, and seriously! I’ve been following the debates and caucuses! Really! Hillary’s the comeback kid! Anne Coulter’s shitting bricks just about now…

i couldn’t hear you but watched you and thought how beautiful you are and how expressive and vibrant (even when ill): now if movie stars looked like you and with your verve and vigor i’d go to movies all the time. when i was a kid i loved veronica lake and lizabeth scott (with their hair and their attitude) and rita hayworth and ava gardner and several others. you are in their league. and to think you are so wonderful a writer and a composer and singer. you are a goddess for sure. love, ed

Aw…thank you, Ed. I wouldn’t say I’m in Rita Hayworth’s league, though. For one thing, I cuss too much, LOL!
