This personal blog is about whatever I feel like getting off my chest, usually music and politics. Because I’m a product of my environment (I was Silicon Valley born and raised), I will also occasionally comment on techy stuff, whether it’s some software or web widget that I discovered (usually long after the rest of the blogosphere has gotten their hands on it), that the good folks at WordPress.com have not, so far, not found a way to incorporate into their blogging services (I’m a dilettante when it comes to this stuff, however, so don’t expect too much in-depth observation - this is NOT CNet.)

Sometimes I’m thoughtful, sometimes I’m bitchy. Since this is not Faux News, I’m not bound to being “fair and balanced”. In other words, in here, it’s ALL opinion, on whatever I feel like saying, whenever I feel like saying it. Sometimes, but not often, I’ll reveal bits and pieces out of my life as it currently stands. And every once in a while, I’ll post some files of tunes. Either by me or by others.

All songs by other artists posted by me stay up for a maximum of 7 days. And usually they’ll be encoded as an ogg vorbis file (tho’ I’ll be happy to point out where folks can find a high quality MP3 of a song I like, if and when I find one). Link to artist sites, shopping portals for the tunes, and/or referrals will ALWAYS be included

House Rules

All comments welcome. However, any insults (weak, strong or otherwise) flung at either the blog owner or any of the other commentators will cause them to be either edited (usually to make a mockery of the commentator) or deleted. Further instances of inflammatory remarks and/or general practices in asshattery will result in IP blockage (this would also include spamming the blog just because you were able to get around Akismet).

Please note that I also will change my mind from time to time and will adjust previously entered posts accordingly to fit my new point of view on things. As a result, this blog’s content is NOT STATIC, and will change from time to time, and as I see fit (usually to update my knowledge on a particular issue, fix an “OOPS, MY BAD” moment, or, very occiasionally, either make a mockery of, or note a “moving on” moment to, some tool who feels the need to link to my blog to throw a hissy fit about whatever it was that I said). So if you need a reliable source, don’t quote me.

I also don’t tolerate illiterate racists and stats-obsessed ingrates. Feel free to disagree with me if you think I’m in the wrong about something, but if you can’t deliver your argument to me as if you were providing it to your mom, then you can’t be around here. Period. Cuss like a sailor if you have to, but show respect and keep it civil. Thanks!
